With the jade green Yankee Candle Sage & Citrus votive candle in a jar, you can give your living space an earthy, woody fragrance with lemony freshness. The wonderfully invigorating fragrance is achieved through a combination of citrus flavours and sage. It has a refreshing and revitalising effect, but also makes the atmosphere in the room appear relaxed. The votive candle in a jar is poured from a soft soy wax mixture and has a natural fibre wick. It burns very cleanly and evenly and has a long burning time of up to 15 hours. The scented candle is already in the candle jar required for use and is therefore ready for immediate use.
How to use the Yankee Candle Sage & Citrus scented candle safely
Always place the votive candle in the jar on a stable, heat-resistant surface out of reach of flammable materials. It should also be out of reach of children and pets. Shorten the wick to a length of 3 to 5 mm before lighting so that the flame remains small and soot formation is prevented. Each time you use the votive candle, leave it to burn until the top layer of wax is liquid from edge to edge. This is the only way to prevent tunnelling in the wax. You should extinguish the candle with a suitable candle snuffer.Description

Scented candles are very easy to use, but a few factors greatly improve the burning behaviour and safety. Always place the scented candle on an even surface in a windless place and away from flammable materials. Before lighting, you should also shorten the wick to around 5 mm. To avoid tunnelling, leave the scented candle burning for at least as long as it takes for the top layer of wax to melt completely. This can take around two hours. However, you should not exceed a burning time of four hours at a time. For optimum burning quality, you should always extinguish the candle with a candle snuffer.
