With the Yankee Candle Christmas Eve, you can give interiors a traditional, Christmassy fragrance reminiscent of an open fireplace and candied fruit. The scented candles achieve their wonderful fragrance through a composition of almond, lemon, orange and lime with a heart of cinnamon, sugar and nutmeg. The aroma is rounded off with warm notes of amber, violet, vanilla and praline. The scented candle is available in a small, medium or large Housewarmer Jar with a glass lid and is the perfect choice for the Christmas season. Depending on the size, the Housewarmer Jar burns for between 40 and 150 hours. The candles are made from high-quality paraffin wax, which contains 7% scented oil throughout, and a pure cotton wick.
How to use the Yankee Candle Christmas Eve scented candle
The candle should burn for at least 2 to 3 hours each time it is used so that the surface liquefies completely and the candle can burn evenly and cleanly. Excessive soot formation can be prevented by shortening the wick to around 5 mm. Thanks to the so-called soft-core process, the flame goes out automatically when 1 to 3 cm of wax remains, which prevents the glass from shattering and ensures the best possible safety of use. Nevertheless, the scented candles should only be used under supervision.Use
Scented candles are very easy to use, but a few factors greatly improve the burning behaviour and safety. Always place the scented candle on an even surface in a windless place and away from flammable materials. Before lighting, you should also shorten the wick to around 5 mm. To avoid tunnelling, leave the scented candle burning for at least as long as it takes for the top layer of wax to melt completely. This can take around two hours. However, you should not exceed a burning time of four hours at a time. For optimum burning quality, you should always extinguish the candle with a candle snuffer.
