How to use the Yankee Candle Shimmering Christmas Tree scented candle safely
Place the candle on a flat and heat-resistant surface away from flammable materials, children and pets and protect it from draughts. Shorten the wick to around 3 mm before lighting to prevent smoke development. The candle should always burn until the top layer of wax is liquid right to the edge. This prevents the formation of tunnels and ensures that the candle provides a Christmassy room fragrance for as long as possible.
