How to use the Yankee Candle Red Raspberry scented candles
Always place the scented candles on a stable, heat-resistant surface that is out of reach of children or pets. Before lighting for the first time, shorten the length of the wicks to 3 to 5 mm. This not only ensures that the candle burns more evenly, but also minimises the formation of soot. To ensure that the wax does not just burn in the centre and tunnel, you should leave the scented candle to burn for at least two hours until the wax surface is completely liquid. However, the application time should not exceed 4 hours. Between uses, preserve the fragrance with the lid provided.Description

Scented candles are very easy to use, but a few factors greatly improve the burning behaviour and safety. Always place the scented candle on an even surface in a windless place and away from flammable materials. Before lighting, you should also shorten the wick to around 5 mm. To avoid tunnelling, leave the scented candle burning for at least as long as it takes for the top layer of wax to melt completely. This can take around two hours. However, you should not exceed a burning time of four hours at a time. For optimum burning quality, you should always extinguish the candle with a candle snuffer.
