Application tips for the Yankee Candle Pink Sands scented candles
Only place the scented candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface that cannot be reached by children or pets. Before lighting the wicks, shorten them to a length of 3 to 5 mm. Allow at least two hours for each application so that the top layer of wax can become completely liquid. The long burning time prevents the formation of a tunnel in the centre of the candle. Between uses, you should protect the scented candle from losing its flavour with the glass lid provided.Description

Scented candles are very easy to use, but a few factors greatly improve the burning behaviour and safety. Always place the scented candle on an even surface in a windless place and away from flammable materials. Before lighting, you should also shorten the wick to around 5 mm. To avoid tunnelling, leave the scented candle burning for at least as long as it takes for the top layer of wax to melt completely. This can take around two hours. However, you should not exceed a burning time of four hours at a time. For optimum burning quality, you should always extinguish the candle with a candle snuffer.
