Sunsets in paradise serve as the inspiration for the complex fragrance composition of the Yankee Candle Black Coconut scented candle. Fruity pineapple blends harmoniously with the creamy note of coconut in the opening, before an exotic heart of coconut blossom reveals itself. As the fragrance progresses, it develops into a warm, powdery base dominated by cedarwood and musk. The fragrance experience is rounded off with subtle nuances of cinnamon, vanilla and caramel, which lend the room a certain depth without being overpowering. High-quality paraffin wax or a special soya wax mixture is used in the production process, with a pure cotton wick placed in the centre. The classic glass jar reveals the dark-coloured wax and features an atmospheric tropical illustration on the label. Depending on the size and variant selected, such as the large signature candle with two wicks for even burning, the burning time varies and can be up to 120 hours.

Scented candles are very easy to use, but a few factors greatly improve the burning behaviour and safety. Always place the scented candle on an even surface in a windless place and away from flammable materials. Before lighting, you should also shorten the wick to around 5 mm. To avoid tunnelling, leave the scented candle burning for at least as long as it takes for the top layer of wax to melt completely. This can take around two hours. However, you should not exceed a burning time of four hours at a time. For optimum burning quality, you should always extinguish the candle with a candle snuffer.
