The heavenly fragrance of the Yankee Candle Black Coconut scented candles unfolds immediately after lighting with fruity aromas of pineapple and hints of coconut. The floral character of the heart note soon joins the fragrance with the aroma of coconut blossom. Finally, the base note rounds off the fragrance perfectly with a musky scent, a powdery accord and woody notes.
The medium-sized Yankee Candle Black Coconut scented candles weigh 368 g and burn for 35 to 50 hours. The large candles with a weight of 567 g even have a burning time of 60 to 90 hours. How long you can enjoy the scent of the candles also depends on you. The larger the flame, the faster the wax is consumed. If you regularly shorten the wick to half a centimetre, you will reduce wax consumption and also ensure that the candles do not produce soot.
Use
Scented candles are very easy to use, but a few factors greatly improve the burning behaviour and safety. Always place the scented candle on an even surface in a windless place and away from flammable materials. Before lighting, you should also shorten the wick to around 5 mm. To avoid tunnelling, leave the scented candle burning for at least as long as it takes for the top layer of wax to melt completely. This can take around two hours. However, you should not exceed a burning time of four hours at a time. For optimum burning quality, you should always extinguish the candle with a candle snuffer.
