The product also includes a finger holder that you can flip from one side to the other if required.

How to use the make-up sponges from beautyblender:

Use the plush side for the first application of make-up. The fibres are specially designed to generously absorb powder. Switch to the velvety side if you want to touch up or blend make-up. The result is a great just-done look without visible blending. The narrow tip is ideal for contouring. You can use the finger pocket to avoid touching the skin of your face with your hands, which can lead to unwanted smudging.
