The Gold Styler from ghd is a professional straightener that works with innovative dual-zone technology: Here, two integrated heat sensors control the styling temperature, keeping it permanently at a hair-friendly 185° Celsius and thereby ensuring an even styling result without unnecessarily straining the hair. The hair styler has a rounded housing, which means that no kinks are created in the strands when straightening. The smooth plates ensure good gliding properties so that the hair does not get caught in the straightener and a frizz-free and quick result is achieved. The Gold Styler from ghd charges in just 26 seconds and comes with a 2.70 metre cable for freedom of movement when styling. It comes with heat-resistant protective caps so you can take the straightener with you wherever you go. If the hair styler is not used for 30 minutes, it switches off automatically for your safety. Thanks to its universal voltage, the appliance can be used anywhere in the world and therefore also performs well on holiday.

After around one minute, a conventional hair straightener reaches its average operating temperature of 120° Celsius and is ready for use. Now take a strand of hair that has previously been treated with a heat protectant and run the straightener evenly from the roots to the ends. Be careful not to start directly at the roots to avoid burning the scalp.
Treat the bottom hair first, then the top hair - strand by strand. It is important to make even movements so that the hair is not overheated at certain points. To avoid protruding ends, pull the straightening iron in a gentle, sweeping arc. Finally, fix the hairstyle with an anti-frizz conditioner or hairspray to make it resistant to external influences.
