Who or what is Amouage? Most people don't know much about this name. However, true perfume aficionados will recognise it: the brand was founded in 1983 in the Sultanate of Oman by a member of the royal family of Oman, Sayyid Hamad bin Hamoud Al Busaid, and has since made a name for itself in the luxury perfumery industry. The company is now based in London, but the creators behind Amouage have not forgotten their roots: Their fragrances form a bridge between the Orient and the Occident and always exude a touch of Arabian romance. The fragrances are created in the perfume metropolis of Grasse in the south of France. The Odyssey Collection, which now consists of four fragrances, was also created in this spirit. One of these is Meander Eau de Parfum Spray. This fragrance is available in a jade green bottle with the typical three-dimensional logo in 50 ml or 100 ml versions. Perfumer Mackenzie Reilly created a fragrance for The Odyssey Collection that is a synergy of pink pepper and black pepper with carrot. But of course, Meander Eau de Parfum Spray is not just made up of food: Other ingredients include Jonquille Absolute and Rose Absolute as well as Orris and Cypriol, Sandalwood and Vetiver.Contents
