Efficient styling often begins even before you actually use the hairdryer. The Aveda Speed of Light Blow Dry Accelerator acts as a multifunctional primer, specially developed to optimise the blow-drying process. Lactic acid, derived from sugar beet, helps to smooth and seal the hair’s cuticle. This helps to separate individual strands of hair, allowing air to circulate more freely and reducing drying time. The formula also features a coconut-based conditioner, which can reduce hair breakage caused by blow-drying, whilst a corn-derived humectant protects against heat damage. The hair is left with a visible shine and is easier to detangle, making it much simpler to manage. The brand’s signature fragrance, with notes of mandarin, star anise and ylang-ylang, ensures a pleasant application experience. Simply spray the product onto towel-dried hair and comb through. The formula, 90% naturally derived, is vegan and not tested on animals.
