The specially designed formula of Dr. Hauschka MED Lava Clay Cream Shampoo focuses on the special needs of very dry scalps that are prone to dandruff. Natural lava clay, also known as rhassoul on the packaging, forms the basis for a particularly gentle cleansing action that removes dirt from the hair and scalp without putting unnecessary strain on the skin's own barrier. The formulation is supplemented by the pressed juice of the midday flower and an extract of juniper berries. These plant-based components are combined with selected oils such as olive, jojoba and avocado oil to prevent dryness during shampooing. As the product is deliberately fragrance-free, it is also suitable for users who are sensitive to fragrances. The composition is free from silicones, mineral oils and synthetic colourants and preservatives. Due to this mild formulation, the shampoo can also be considered for those with a tendency to neurodermatitis and for cleaning children's hair. Coloured hair can also be cleaned with this product, which is visually distinguished by the characteristic blue stripe of the MED series.
