The basis of the tried and tested recipe is a careful blend of saponified organic oils, including coconut, palm, olive, hemp and jojoba oil. This combination creates a particularly silky lather on contact with water, which is ideal for gently cleansing hands, face and the entire body. Dr Bronner's consistently avoids the use of synthetic preservatives, artificial foaming agents and thickeners in the production process. Instead, ingredients from controlled organic cultivation are used, which are also certified according to fair trade standards. The organic palm oil gives the soap bar its firm structure, while the coconut oil supports the rich lather formation.
