Avoid intense midday sun. Excessive exposure to the sun is dangerous. Do not stay in the sun for too long, even if you are using a sun protection product, as this does not offer 100% protection even with a high SPF. Apply sunscreen generously before sunbathing. Smaller amounts reduce the protective effect. Reapply several times to maintain the sun protection factor, especially after spending time in water, drying off and sweating.
