The top note in the eau de parfum spray consists of mandarins, bitter oranges and chypre accords. The heart note features absolutes of Grasse rose, Egyptian jasmine, jasmine sambac and jasminum grandiflorum in combination with Turkish rose. Everything is framed by bourbon vanilla from Madagascar, sandalwood, acacia wood, cedar, patchouli and cashmere. If the eau de parfum were a colour, it would be an elegant rose with a slight golden shimmer that refines it. Avoid rubbing or dabbing the skin after applying this perfume. This breaks down the fragrance and causes it to evaporate more quickly.
If you apply the fragrance to your wrists, be sure to reapply it after frequent hand washing, as this tends to rinse off the fragrance.
Replace the fragrance after 12 months. Expired perfumes that are older than one year lose the essence of the original fragrance. Eau de toilette or eau de parfum? The difference lies in the amount of perfume oil. While EdT contains five to nine per cent, EdP contains more - usually eight to fourteen per cent. EdPs therefore last longer and smell more intense.
