Use
Allow the candle wax to melt evenly from the wick to the edge of the container, especially when lighting for the first time, to prevent the formation of a tunnel around the wick.
Trim the wick to an optimum length of approx. 10 mm with a wick cutter before each lighting.
The flame should not burn too small or too high, otherwise the candle will soot and burn unevenly. A place with little draught is best suited for your candle.
The candle should not burn for longer than 5 hours at a time. It can be relit after 2 hours of rest.
