How to use the Yankee Candle White Spruce + Grapefruit
Place the votive candle in the jar on a heat-resistant, flat surface. The location should be out of reach of children and pets. Before lighting, shorten the wick to a length of around 5 mm. To ensure that the candle delights with its pleasant fragrance for a long time, you should make sure that no tunnelling occurs. You can prevent this by always leaving the candle burning until the top layer of wax is completely liquid. It is also advisable to extinguish the scented candle with a candle snuffer.Description

Scented candles are very easy to use, but a few factors greatly improve the burning behaviour and safety. Always place the scented candle on an even surface in a windless place and away from flammable materials. Before lighting, you should also shorten the wick to around 5 mm. To avoid tunnelling, leave the scented candle burning for at least as long as it takes for the top layer of wax to melt completely. This can take around two hours. However, you should not exceed a burning time of four hours at a time. For optimum burning quality, you should always extinguish the candle with a candle snuffer.
