Two separate phases rest on top of each other in the bottle, which only combine to form a homogeneous emulsion when shaken by hand. This combination aims to remove various types of decorative cosmetics from the face and eye area. In particular, waterproof textures, such as those often found in mascara or eyeliner, can be softened and removed by the special formulation. The formula uses plant extracts of water lily and eyebright. The manufacturer Artemis of Switzerland deliberately avoids ingredients such as paraffin oil and parabens in this formulation. The product is classified as hypoallergenic and is suitable for all skin types according to the packaging information. The liquid is applied to a cotton pad. To remove make-up from the eyes, the soaked pad can be pressed briefly onto the closed eyelid before the colour is removed with a downward motion. This removes any residue and prepares the skin for the subsequent steps in the routine.
