Aveda Control Paste ensures flexible hair styling with textured definition. This styling paste has been developed to give hair texture and a medium, mouldable hold. Its creamy consistency makes it easy to apply and allows it to glide smoothly through dry hair without leaving a sticky feeling. The result is a matt finish that works for a variety of looks, from loose and tousled to accentuated strands. The formula, containing organic linseed, is free from parabens and phthalates. The product is rounded off by Aveda’s signature pure-fume™ fragrance, a blend of certified organic ylang-ylang, clary sage and other pure floral and botanical essences. The packaging consists of a 100% recycled HDPE jar, which underlines the brand’s commitment to responsible manufacturing.

Apply a small amount of hair paste to your fingertips in the morning or evening. Rub the paste in gently and work it into towel-dried or blow-dried hair. Use the paste to apply each strand exactly where you want it and in the desired shape. It is important that you do not use too much, otherwise the hair paste will be visible in your hair. Before you go to bed, you should definitely wash the hair paste out again. The remnants of the paste can damage the hair or irritate the scalp. Use a mild shampoo for this. Your hair and scalp will then have enough time to regenerate overnight.
