A rich, sensual red colour dominates the appearance of this luxurious home accessory from the Home Collection of the Italian brand Etro. The glass jar is decorated with an ornate, detailed paisley pattern, which bears the house's typical aesthetic signature and is complemented by discreet lettering. A shiny, copper to gold-coloured lid protects the wax when not in use and elegantly reflects the light. The olfactory composition of the Demetra candle unfolds a fresh, woody aura that is often described as the olfactory equivalent of a forest. Notes of damp earth and green leaves combine harmoniously with the ethereal character of pine. Subtle floral nuances round off the profile and lend the composition a certain lightness. Inside the jar is high-quality wax enriched with real perfume oils. This processing allows the candle to burn for up to 60 hours and burns almost soot-free. Especially in the cooler months of the year, the ruby red design combined with the aromatic forest notes can create a cosy atmosphere in the living room or bedroom.

Scented candles are very easy to use, but a few factors greatly improve the burning behaviour and safety. Always place the scented candle on an even surface in a windless place and away from flammable materials. Before lighting, you should also shorten the wick to around 5 mm. To avoid tunnelling, leave the scented candle burning for at least as long as it takes for the top layer of wax to melt completely. This can take around two hours. However, you should not exceed a burning time of four hours at a time. For optimum burning quality, you should always extinguish the candle with a candle snuffer.
