Cheer Up by Geek & Gorgeous is a liquid exfoliator specially designed for the needs of combination and oily skin. The formula combines two types of exfoliating acids: mandelic acid (AHA) and salicylic acid (BHA). While the large-molecule mandelic acid works gently on the skin's surface and can contribute to a more even skin texture, the oil-soluble salicylic acid is known to penetrate the pores. There it can help to clear them from the inside out. The composition is complemented by sarcosine, an amino acid that can refine the appearance of pores. The light, serum-like texture is quickly absorbed without leaving a film. The minimalist formulation deliberately avoids fragrances and essential oils. It is recommended to apply the product less frequently at first and then gradually increase the frequency. Consistent sun protection the following day is essential, as the skin can become more sensitive to light.

Cheer Up Serum is an ideal first step after cleansing the skin. Use it as a toner, either with a cotton pad or pour it into your hands and dab it into the skin. Avoid the eye area! Depending on skin tolerance, Cheer Up can be used every other day to twice a day. Once a day is ideal for most skin types. Wait until it has been absorbed and then apply your favourite serums and moisturisers.
