THE CREATION
The first Eau de Cologne from Hermès was created by Françoise Caron in 1979. Originally called Eau de Cologne Hermès, it was renamed Eau d'Orange Verte in 1997. Today it is an icon and is characterised by its vibrant freshness.

THE FRAGRANCE NOTES
Eau d'Orange Verte combines vibrant orange with the freshness of mint and woody notes of moss.

THE OBJECT
The legendary lantern bottle comes in a deep green colour. A contrasting ribbon on the orange box echoes the colour of the bottle.

The first Hermès cologne, created by Françoise Caron in 1979, breathes the scent of undergrowth wet with morning dew. This fragrance, which has since become the emblem of Hermès, is characterised by its exceptional freshness. A perfume narrative like an explosion of citrus notes, in which orange peel and orange leaves play the leading role, accompanied by lemon, mandarin, mint and blackcurrant bud. Eau d'orange verte reveals its complex character through the unique fragrance notes of oakmoss and patchouli.

In order for men's perfume to really come into its own, it is always sprayed very sparingly and directly onto the skin. The chosen fragrance is quickly released through body heat. If you use a spray bottle, the distance should be around 20 cm. The fine spray mist is not rubbed off and dries on the skin. As the spray mist rises from the bottom upwards, the skin is always perfumed from the bottom upwards. Ideally, the body should be prepared with an odourless body lotion before perfuming. The fragrances in the men's perfume will cling to the lipids in the lotion, ensuring a longer-lasting fragrance experience.
