THE CREATION
A symbol of freedom-loving, modern femininity, Amazone was created in 1974 by perfumer Maurice Maurin. This floral, green fragrance harmony is inspired by the legendary horsewomen who, according to legend, once ruled the shores of the Black Sea.

THE FRAGRANCE NOTES
In the floral, green fragrance of Eau de Toilette Amazone, the powdery notes of blackcurrant bud are spiritedly balanced with delicate rose notes and milky sandalwood notes.

THE OBJECT
The bottle is inspired by the lanterns of horse-drawn carriages of yesteryear and the black lid is reminiscent of the shape of a riding helmet. The fragrance's affiliation with the Parfums Fondateurs collection is recognisable by the label on the back, which features a motif by Philippe Dumas.

Amazon alludes to the mythical warrior women who, according to legend, ruled the shores of the Black Sea, and today symbolises the modern, independent woman. Composed in 1974 by Maurice Maurin around the basic motif of blackcurrant bud, the fragrance is a green, floral harmony in which daffodil, narcissus, galbanum, red fruits and vetiver resonate.

Perfume, Extrait, Intense and Eau de Toilette are sprayed onto the wrists and inside of the elbows, back of the knees, neck and décolleté from a distance of approx. 30 cm, either as a spray or with an atomiser.

Put a splash on your finger or a cotton bud and dab it on the earlobes, temples, wrists, bends of the knees, décolleté, ankles and inside of the elbows.

Apply drops of oil behind the ears, on the wrists, the ends of the hair or clothing.

Parfum Roll-on is applied to the wrists, neck, décolleté, back of the knees and inside of the elbows.
