To give your hairstyle a wet or shiny look, you need to use your hair gel sparingly. Apply a hazelnut-sized amount to your fingertips and work the gel in as desired. Using a wide-toothed comb, the gel can be easily and, above all, evenly distributed through the hair. You can also use the comb to achieve a slicked-back look. The hair gel should now be left to air dry. This will maintain the desired hairstyle. You can also blow-dry the hair with a gentle stream of air. It is advisable to wash out the hair gel in the evening so that the hair is not too stressed.

I have been using the gel for many years. Simply great. One large tube lasts me a whole year. A very small tube is for travelling and I keep refilling it.
