The Curl Styler from Wella Friseurtechnik is a versatile styling tool that has been specially developed for professional use. It combines the functions of a hair dryer and a styling brush so that the hair can be dried and styled in just one step, regardless of whether it is damp or already dry. Four interchangeable round brush attachments with diameters from 12 mm to 38 mm ensure maximum styling flexibility. These enable a variety of looks, from defined small curls to large, voluminous waves. With the larger attachments, retractable bristles make it easier to twist the brush out of the hair without damaging the style. With 600 watts of power, the appliance offers two combined heat and blower settings as well as a separate cold setting to set the style. Thanks to its lightweight design and cable length of around 1.9 metres, the German-made styler sits comfortably in the hand and offers sufficient freedom of movement.

Apply a heat protection spray throughout the hair and brush through well. Remember that your hair must be dry before you put it on the curling iron. If the hair is damp or even wet, it can burn. If your curling iron has a temperature control, select the right temperature for your hair type. For fine hair, this is 160 to 180 degrees, thick hair can withstand temperatures of 180 to 220 degrees.

Section the hair. It is important to put the top hair up, as you will start twisting the curls from the bottom. Divide the rest of the hair into smaller sections to make your work easier. Now you can begin: Make sure you wind strands of the same thickness onto the curling iron to achieve an even result.

Pinch the strand at the tip and twist it onto the curling iron. Hold the curl in this position for around 10 to 20 seconds.

Leave the curl to cool in your hand. For a more casual look, you can simply shake or comb through the hair at the end.

Set the result with hairspray or mousse. Use a special curl cream to add definition to your curls.
