The blue scented wax with the promising name Lakefront Lodge is characterised by a long burn time of up to eight hours and impresses with base notes characterised by tonka and labdanum. The top notes, on the other hand, are dominated by aldehydes and ozone. As this Yankee Candle product is made from refined paraffin, it is ideal for adding even more character to already fascinating rooms and inspiring all those present with its fragrance. Scented candles are very easy to use, but a few factors greatly improve the burning behaviour and safety. Always place the scented candle on an even surface in a windless place and away from flammable materials. Before lighting, you should also shorten the wick to around 5 mm. To avoid tunnelling, leave the scented candle burning for at least as long as it takes for the top layer of wax to melt completely. This can take around two hours. However, you should not exceed a burning time of four hours at a time. For optimum burning quality, you should always extinguish the candle with a candle snuffer.
