The delicate skin of the lips in particular has hardly any protective mechanisms of its own and needs special attention when exposed to intense sunlight. The SUN Care Lip Stick from Annemarie Börlind was specially developed to support this sensitive area with a medium sun protection factor of 20. A carefully coordinated filter system can shield against the effects of UVA and UVB rays and is also characterised by its waterproof properties. The formula focuses on plant-based ingredients that provide a comfortable feel without weighing the skin down. Valuable castor oil serves as the base and gives the pencil its smooth consistency. An extract of organic sea buckthorn is also added to the formulation, which can act as an antioxidant in combination with vitamin E. These ingredients help to protect the lips from drying out and maintain their suppleness. The brand remains true to its principles and consistently avoids silicones, paraffins and genetically modified plants. The practical stick format makes the product easy to apply and is a reliable companion on sunny days.
