Afterwards, allow the candle wax to harden completely and shorten the wick with wick scissors or nail scissors if necessary. Half a centimetre in length is ideal. - Do not burn your candle for more than 1.5 hours at a time. This will prevent the flame from getting too high, which can cause smoke and stains on the glass.
- Use a suitable candle snuffer to extinguish the flame.
- Allow the candle to harden before lighting it again.
- Realign the wick in the wax after each use so that the wax is consumed evenly.
- Cut the wick regularly with wick scissors (ideal length 5 mm) so that the wick does not stick to the wax and the candle does not emit smoke.
- Keep the wax pool free of matches and impurities.
- Do not use the candle if the remaining wax level in the glass is less than 5 mm.
- Do not leave the burning candle unattended. Keep it away from children, curtains and pets.
- Do not move a burning candle when the wax is still hot. Wait until the wax has hardened.
- Do not place the candle on heat-sensitive surfaces, near flammable materials, near an open window or near another candle.
