Practical tips for using the scented candles:
If the flame becomes too large, you can simply shorten the organic cotton wick to approx. 0.6 cm using small scissors. Do not place the candles on flammable surfaces. After lighting the candle for the first time, you should wait until the top layer of wax has completely liquefied before extinguishing it. This will ensure regular burning behaviour. Scented candles are very easy to use, but a few factors greatly improve the burning behaviour and safety. Always place the scented candle on an even surface in a windless place and away from flammable materials. Before lighting, you should also shorten the wick to around 5 mm. To avoid tunnelling, leave the scented candle burning for at least as long as it takes for the top layer of wax to melt completely. This can take around two hours. However, you should not exceed a burning time of four hours at a time. For optimum burning quality, you should always extinguish the candle with a candle snuffer.
