With the Art In The Park fragrance composition, Yankee Candle transports residents away from dark winter days and into a sense of summer freshness. Initially, the scented candles unfold their top notes of violet, green apple and water lily. This is gradually joined by the scent of rose petals, jasmine and ylang-ylang. Finally, the base notes of cedarwood, sandalwood and musk pleasantly accompany both moody fragrances. It takes around two to three minutes from the moment the candle is lit for the fragrance to be released from the liquid candle wax. After that, the immediate surroundings where Yankee Candle is placed are filled with the scent of flowers, the smell of ripening fruit and lively wood. The Art In The Park candle series is guaranteed to lighten the mood, whether for a dinner together or simply for a soulful smile at the end of the day. Scented candles are very easy to use, but a few factors greatly improve the burning behaviour and safety. Always place the scented candle on an even surface in a windless place and away from flammable materials. Before lighting, you should also shorten the wick to around 5 mm. To avoid tunnelling, leave the scented candle burning for at least as long as it takes for the top layer of wax to melt completely. This can take around two hours. However, you should not exceed a burning time of four hours at a time. For optimum burning quality, you should always extinguish the candle with a candle snuffer.
