The Yankee Candle company is known for its extraordinary creations, so it is not surprising that Smoked Vanilla & Cashmere also has an extremely well thought-out fragrance pyramid to ensure that an appealing aroma spreads throughout the room. The top note consists of raw sugar, blackcurrant and roasted marshmallow. The heart note, in turn, contains smoked cinnamon, charcoal, vanilla ash, clove bud and cashmere. Finally, the base note contains melted amber, creamy musk, virgin juniper and guaiac wood. In addition to the aromatic experience, these scented candles also impress in other ways. A wick made from 100% natural fibre and a sophisticated soy wax blend have been used to ensure ideal and even burning, resulting in a burning time of 35 to 50 hours. Scented candles are very easy to use, but a few factors greatly improve the burning behaviour and safety. Always place the scented candle on an even surface in a windless place and away from flammable materials. Before lighting, you should also shorten the wick to around 5 mm. To avoid tunnelling, leave the scented candle burning for at least as long as it takes for the top layer of wax to melt completely. This can take around two hours. However, you should not exceed a burning time of four hours at a time. For optimum burning quality, you should always extinguish the candle with a candle snuffer.
