Did you know?

Acqua di Parma comes from Italy, as the name suggests, and was founded in 1916. At that time, Acqua di Parma Colonia was a counterpart of the very prominent, predominantly German perfumes, and began in a small factory right in the heart of Parma. Since then, the brand has become international and can be found in more than 50 countries. The great breakthrough began at the start of the 1990s, when the brand opened its own fragrance boutique and, from then on, was able to keep regional Italian traditions alive too.

Wide fragrance range with Italian character

Acqua di Parma Colonia is now the brand’s most prominent fragrance; it has only be changed slightly and occasionally reinterpreted since its launch in 1916, such as in the Acqua di Parma Colonia Intensa Oud fragrance range, where the fragrance was refined by the mysterious oud. To this day, the perfume atomises the character of Italian towns and cities, evokes memories of romantic sunsets, and sprays a lust for life and great mysticism at the same time. Besides the bottle, it is also the fragrance of Acqua di Parma that makes the brand extra special. The design of the bottles, such as that of the Acqua di Parma Colonia Intensa Oud, are black and yellow or classic black.

The fragrance of the stars

Acqua di Parma has never just been of interest to the masses. Even stars enjoy using the unique Italian creation. Audrey Hepburn, Cary Grant, Ava Gardner, and Lana Turner, for example, loved wearing the perfume in the 1930s.
