With Velvet Crush, Atkinsons presents a scented candle that offers a complex interplay of different aromas and creates a special atmosphere. At the centre of the fragrance development are notes of golden honey, which meet the earthy structure of Indonesian patchouli and cypriol. This bouquet is complemented by the dry warmth of immortelle and subtle nuances of tobacco. A base of soft musk and benzoin ensures a harmonious finish to the composition. Scented candles are very easy to use, but a few factors greatly improve the burning behaviour and safety. Always place the scented candle on an even surface in a windless place and away from flammable materials. Before lighting, you should also shorten the wick to around 5 mm. To avoid tunnelling, leave the scented candle burning for at least as long as it takes for the top layer of wax to melt completely. This can take around two hours. However, you should not exceed a burning time of four hours at a time. For optimum burning quality, you should always extinguish the candle with a candle snuffer.
