The Yankee Candle Black Tea & Lemon scented candle reinterprets a well-known fragrance in a modern and multi-layered way. The deep grey-blue wax, which is made from a smooth soy wax blend, is presented in an elegant signature jar. When the two cotton wicks are lit, a tangy top note initially unfolds, combining invigorating flavours of yuzu and lemon with a pinch of pink pepper. This initial freshness blends harmoniously into a complex heart dominated by spicy nuances of black sesame, ginger and lime leaves. The long-lasting base note, which combines creamy elements of vanilla, clove, coconut and musk, provides a warm and gentle finish. The transparent, slightly bulbous glass jar with its tight-fitting lid and detailed illustration of a lemon on the label is a stylish accessory that blends in with a variety of interior styles. The careful composition of the ingredients creates a balanced room experience that offers both citrusy lightness and a pleasant depth.

Scented candles are very easy to use, but a few factors greatly improve the burning behaviour and safety. Always place the scented candle on an even surface in a windless place and away from flammable materials. Before lighting, you should also shorten the wick to around 5 mm. To avoid tunnelling, leave the scented candle burning for at least as long as it takes for the top layer of wax to melt completely. This can take around two hours. However, you should not exceed a burning time of four hours at a time. For optimum burning quality, you should always extinguish the candle with a candle snuffer.
