Ferré Fragrances

The Italian fashion tsar, Gianfranco Ferré, who was born in 1944 and died in 2007, today numbers among the globally most successful fashion designers of all times. As a graduate architect, he switched to the fashion branch and created his own luxury brand in 1978, in whose name he was already creating accessoires, such as bracelets or even belts for prominent personalities. Today, his assortment thus also includes women’s, men’s and children’s fashions. The highlight of his career from 1989 to 1996 was the position of Creative Director at Christian Dior, for whom he also created couture lines, until the Italian ITTIERRE S.p.A. Group acquired 90% of the House of Ferré in 2000 and is still ensuring a large profit today, including for the fragrance creations of the House.
